When will it be? Many years ago there was a song titled “Where will the babies dimple be?”. Now can use that tune, to almost to ask “When will it be?” that this lockdown is all over.
The selfish thing I suppose is to want the lockdown to end for own reasons. We should be wanting to end because the world has found an answer to this terrible problem. However, it will be so nice to be able to walk along the promenade in Llandudno and enjoy the beautiful views. To take in the wonderful fresh air and explore the Great Orme and even enjoy the slot machines in the arcades on the pier.

It is surprising how we miss the things that we have taken for granted for so long. Being able to drive around in our cars just because we want to! Imagine the beautiful scenery all around North Wales that in the past we have driven through and not really noticed.
It will change eventually and we will all have a different way of dealing with things. I have always been a great one for shaking hands and even giving the odd ‘man hug’ but perhaps not in the future. We will probably appreciate the simple things much more than before, just being able to walk along the beach! Imagine dipping your toes in the water without thinking let’s get to the pub and have a drink!
Travelling abroad I think will be more expensive even if you can find somewhere to go who wants to be in a flying metal tube with around 200 other people. Much better to stay in the UK and explore the fantastic places and sights we have here at home. North Wales has so much to offer and can fulfil everyone’s holiday needs, we even get some hot weather occasionally!
