The lovely and luxurious apartment that is victoria24llandudno is only a short drive from the beautiful walled town of Conwy in North Wales. By using the apartment as your base it is so easy to explore North Wales, which has so much to offer.
Just driving through the wonderful scenery around here is so exciting, castles galore, 6 of them within an easy driving distance. Rhuddlan, Conwy, Caernarfon. From there you can go on to Anglesey and visit the town of Beaumaris and its smaller castle before going to Harlech castle. Whilst the castles will enthral you the ride and scenery between each of them will take your breath away.
Caernarfon castle was, of course, the scene of the Investiture of Prince Charles as Prince of Wales back in 1969. Recently Netflix re-enacted the Investiture for their series The Crown using the castle and a lot of local people as extras for the crowd shots. Many of them were able to recall the original happening
If you want adventure then the Snowdon mountain range provides all you could ask for. However, if you decide to walk, hike or climb the mountains make sure you are properly prepared. In the winter it can be treacherous, but sensible equipment and a proper knowledge of climbing will ensure your safety. Whatever you do make sure you let others know where you are heading and take a mobile with you, though you can’t always guarantee a signal. In the spring and right through the summer until early autumn it is possible to reach the summit via the Snowden mountain railway. Best to book your tickets in advance if you can.
Snowdon and the whole of the beautiful North Wales area is a great place to visit at any time of the year. In the summer you can enjoy the coastline and the best beaches anywhere and then return to the apartment and relax before exploring the town of Llandudno. Whilst in the autumn and winter the warmth of the apartment and its cosy central heating will help to end your day in comfort.
