After arriving at Victoria24llandudno and settling in you will realise just what a good idea it was to book it. Not only is it situated just a short walk to the magnificent promenade it is close to many restaurants and shops.
An easy walk to the theatre, Venue Cymru, which has many great shows going on all through the year, as well as in town. On along the prom and you come to Llandudno pier, the longest in Wales. If you walk to the end of the pier you will have wonderful views of the sweeping bay and also the Great Orme.
The Great orme itself has many reasons to visit it, the dry ski slope and toboggan run, the copper mines. At the top of the Orme you will experience fantastic vistas as you look across to Conwy, Anglesey and of course the beautiful Snowdon mountains. During the spring the tram to the top of the Orme will reopen and this is a gentle way to reach the top. Or of course you could take the cable car, recently featured in Coronation Street, but make sure that no one gives birth on board!
Llandudno itself has so much to offer but just a very short drive away is the walled town of Conwy with its medieval castle. Well worth a visit and you can walk the walls and then wander down into the town. If you go on down to the quay you can go on the river boat cruises that go up the River Conwy.
If you re of the sporting nature then around the immediate area are four very testing golf courses, Rhos, Masedu, North Wales and the championship course at Conwy. You might want more choice and within easy driving distance there are another 25 course to select from.
If you just want scenery and gentle walking then this is the best are of all. For those who seek something more adventurous then of course there are the many climbs of the Snowdonia range to choose from. Just make sure that someone else knows where you are climbing to be safe as well.
